Waunafest, Sunday, July 26, 2015; Time: 11:00 am
Contact Tom Reis at firstname.lastname@example.org for coordination/details for the
Deforest/Waunakee events. You will also need to coordinate the lowering of the zamboni from the rafters at the Ice Pond. Three or four people are needed.
Lodi, August 15; More details to follow.
Contact Chris Rehlinger at email@example.com for details.
DPL and Waunakee high school players should have a presence to promote their respective teams (DPL at Deforest/Lodi and Waunakee at Waunakee) along with Wildcat Youth hockey all wearing their jerseys.
Waunafest Run (July 25)
We are looking for 8 volunteers to help with the Waunafest kiddie run on Saturday, July 25th from 9-10 AM at Village Park. Volunteers would wear their Wildcat gear and would assist Jeff Skoug with organizing the kids by age. They help parents ensure their kids are in the right spot and then help start each age group in waves of 8-10 kids. We will also need some help to direct the kids to the right side of the finish line to keep a lane clear for the 10 mile finishers. If interested, please contact Christine Gruetzmacher at firstname.lastname@example.org.
WYHA Golf Outing (August 29,2015 1 pm, Lake Windsor Golf Club)
We are re-introducing a golf outing as a major fundraiser for our club. This outing will replace our Wildcat Classic. In order to make it a success, we will need support leading up to the event as well as help the day of the event. If you are interested in sharing your talents, please contact Christine Gruetzmacher at email@example.com.

2014 - 2015 Learn to Skate
Are you interested in introducing your 4-10 year old child to skating and the sport of ice hockey?
If so, the Learn to Skate (LTS) Program is ideal. This program runs 8 weeks in the first session and 9 weeks in the second session for 1 hour per week and familiarizes your child to the fundamentals of skating in a safe and fun-filled environment.
Click here for more information and to learn how to register. If your child is 6 or under, you may follow the link directions. If your child is 7 or 8, please contact our registrar firstname.lastname@example.org for registration directions
Click here to register for LTS or Learn to Play (LTP). If you are interested in moving your skater from LTS or LTP to U6 or U8 (they must be the correct birth year) then you should talk to one of the coaches at the LTS or LTP level about doing this.
2014/2015 Concession Sign Up
Sign up for this season's 2014/2015 concessions time slots on Volunteerspot (see instructions below). It is important to remember that the concession stand is a significant fundraiser for Wildcat Youth Hockey and will help offset other costs and the potential need to raise skater fees in the future. If the time slots assigned to Wildcat Youth Hockey go unfilled, or we have people that do not show up for their shift, the club will be charged a fee by the rink. This not only reduces our take on concessions, but negatively impacts everyone's experience at the rink. We are encouraging all families to follow the instructions below to sign up for times that you want to work.
For 2014/2015 concession stand shift signup and schedule:
- Click on this link: http://vols.pt/m42nRt
- Enter your e-mail address
- Enter it again
- The Calendar will show up
- Sign up for open shifts on the calendar.
There will be many shifts available between now and February and everyone should be able to get all their volunteer hours in. If you have any questions, please email me.
