2015/2016 Concession Sign Up

Sign up for this season's 2015/2016 concessions time slots on Volunteerspot (see instructions below). It is important to remember that the concession stand is a significant fundraiser for Wildcat Youth Hockey and will help offset other costs and the potential need to raise skater fees in the future. If the time slots assigned to Wildcat Youth Hockey go unfilled, or we have people that do not show up for their shift, the club will be charged a fee by the rink. This not only reduces our take on concessions, but negatively impacts everyone's experience at the rink. We are encouraging all families to follow the instructions below to sign up for times that you want to work.

As the season approaches, we will open registration for volunteer spots.  The process is as follows:

For 2015/2016 concession stand shift signup and schedule:

  1. Click on this link:
  2. Enter your e-mail address
  3. Enter it again
  4. The Calendar will show up
  5. Sign up for open shifts on the calendar.

There will be many shifts available between now and February and everyone should be able to get all their volunteer hours in. If you have any questions, please  email me .

New to Hockey - Learn to Skate or Learn to Play

Are you interested in introducing your child to skating and the sport of ice hockey?  If so, either the Learn to Skate (LTS) or Learn To Play (LTP) program is ideal.

LTS program
The LTS program has two sessions.  Each session runs about 10 weeks with a 1 hour practice session per week. Practices are typically on Saturdays starting at 8:00 AM. Skates and a hockey or bike helmet is all that is needed.  Click here for more information about Learn to Skate.

Session 2 is now open for registration.  Session 1 remains opens as well as we can do a pro-rated fee for late arrivals.

LTP program
Children continue the fundamentals of skating with added hockey skills and scrimmages during practice. Full hockey equipment is required.  There is one, 1 hour practice per week.

All WYHA programs

Schedule:  Once the schedule is set you will be able to access it from the website ( schedule page ).

A USA hockey registration number is required, which is free for kids 6 or under, as of Dec. 31.  If your child is over 6 years of age and you are registering for LTS please contact our registrar prior to registration to see about possibly waiving the USA hockey fee.  The USA hockey fee is required for all other levels.   Registration is open now for the LTS (session 1) and the LTP program! Once the season starts there will be an opportunity to move your skater from LTS to LTP or to U6 or U8 (they must be the correct birth year for U6 and U8).  You should talk to one of the coaches at the LTS or LTP level about doing this.

2015-2016 Season Registration Remains Open

Registration remains open for the 2015/2016 season for divisions LTP, U6, U8, and LTS Sessions 1 & 2.   Again this year there is an online payment option so you can pay via a credit card or bank transfer through Paypal.
